Oracle Red Bull Racing has announced a multi-year global partnership with 1Password, a leader in identity security, naming them as the team’s exclusive Cybersecurity Partner. This collaboration marks 1Password’s inaugural venture into Formula 1®. Through this partnership, Oracle Red Bull Racing will implement 1Password’s Extended Access Management to enhance its security measures, ensuring that every sign-in to every application from every device is trusted and secure.
Christian Horner, CEO and Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing, emphasized the importance of secure, trusted access to critical information as the 2025 Formula 1® season approaches. He stated that this partnership will enable the team to continue making confident, data-driven decisions both trackside and at their Milton Keynes factory.
David Faugno, Co-Chief Executive Officer of 1Password, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with a world champion like Oracle Red Bull Racing. He highlighted that the team’s success relies on engineering excellence, innovation, and seamless, secure access to critical information anywhere. Faugno added that 1Password aims to protect every sign-in, point of access, and piece of critical information, allowing the team to focus on winning.
As part of the partnership, 1Password’s branding will be prominently displayed on key team assets, including the halo, steering wheel, and chassis of the Oracle Red Bull Racing car, as well as on driver and crew suits, team kits, and garage screens. Notably, for the first time, 1Password branding will appear on the steering wheel screens of both Max Verstappen’s and Liam Lawson’s RB21 challengers, showcasing both parties’ commitment to innovation and protection.
Additionally, 1Password is partnering with the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme to support the F1® Academy, which champions the next generation of female racing talent. This initiative provides mentorship, tools, and coaching to develop future drivers, engineers, and industry leaders. As part of this commitment, 1Password is supporting 18-year-old driver Alisha Palmowski, who aims to inspire a growing female fanbase and encourage the next generation to pursue their dreams.
This partnership underscores the critical role of cybersecurity in Formula 1® and reflects a shared commitment to innovation between Oracle Red Bull Racing and 1Password.
